The story of Assisted Living began with the previous owners of this charming cottage, who had reached a stage in life where they needed additional support to maintain their quality of living. With that heartfelt transition, this cozy home became an opportunity for thoughtful renovation — blending comfort, accessibility, and modern updates while honoring its original charm.
The home was fully refreshed with a brand-new metal roof and a newly installed central HVAC system to ensure year-round comfort. We installed new luxury vinyl plank flooring throughout and repainted the interior to bring a fresh, clean feel to the space. The kitchen was fully updated with new cabinets, stainless steel appliances, and a classic tile backsplash that added timeless style.
The bathroom was completely remodeled, featuring new flooring, a new bathtub, subway-tiled shower surround, a rain shower head with a sprayer, a new vanity, updated lighting, modern plumbing, and a new toilet. Recessed lighting was added throughout the main living areas to brighten the space and improve functionality.
For added convenience, we created an interior laundry area with hookups for a stackable washer and dryer, allowing for easy access without sacrificing living space. Outside, the attached carport included a secure storage shed, and a detached shed at the back of the property offered even more room for tools, equipment, or seasonal storage.
Assisted Living became more than just a renovation — it was a respectful refresh of a well-loved home, ready to welcome its next chapter with warmth and practicality.
