The Barage was near and dear to Bridgette & JD because it is their private home bar. The concept for The Barage was born when they couldn’t find a venue suitable for JD’s 50th birthday bash. Most places had restrictions on the alcohol service, the food, the DJ, or a combination of all three.
The renovation transformed what had once been a finished garage into The Barage—a bartender’s dream and a haven for socializing and enjoying fine spirits.
The Barage has a seating capacity of 20, with standing room for many more. It is equipped with commercial-grade beverage coolers, a 4-tap kegerator, an ice maker, a glass washer, an espresso machine, and a 500-capacity humidifier for our cigar collection.
The whiskey collection is certainly the star of the show, however that was not included in the scope of work for the renovation! The Barage also features fully automated lighting controls, butcher block bartops, surround sound audio, a brick accent wall, and, of course, a TV for streaming entertainment.
The debut event at The Barage was JD’s 50th birthday bash, where they hosted over 135 guests at their home. Many parties followed—and there were always more on the horizon.
