The Graffiti House got its name from the spray-painted garage that greeted us when we first acquired the property — a bold, creative remnant of its past that inspired the vision for its future. The previous owners had started a renovation themselves but ultimately found the project too large to complete. When we took over, we saw the potential and committed to a full transformation.
This 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom home was completely renovated from top to bottom. We installed brand-new energy-efficient windows, updated all electrical systems, added recessed lighting throughout the living areas, and replaced the water heater. The interior and exterior were freshly painted, and new luxury vinyl plank flooring was laid throughout the home to create a clean, modern foundation.
The kitchen was reimagined with all-new cabinetry, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and a glass tile backsplash, giving it a fresh, functional, and stylish appeal. In the oversized living and family room, we added shiplap to create a warm, timeless atmosphere. We also updated the home with modern matte-black hardware throughout for a cohesive, contemporary finish.
Both bathrooms were fully remodeled. The primary bathroom now features a custom tiled walk-in shower, with dual rain heads and sprayers, two vanities, updated lighting and plumbing, a new toilet, and new flooring. The second bathroom was updated with a new tub, subway-tiled showers, a new vanity, modern hardware, lighting, plumbing, and a new toilet.
Closet spaces were enhanced with new shelving systems, providing both function and flexibility. The utility room, located just off the two-car garage, was updated with washer and dryer hookups. The garage itself received a brand-new door. We also preserved and refreshed the screened sunroom to create a peaceful space for relaxation. The roof had been replaced in 2018 and remained in excellent condition, so no additional work was needed there.
From top to bottom, The Graffiti House was carefully restored and modernized while honoring the original character that made it special.
