3bed/1bath, 1,092 sqft
Despite the visible evidence of the fire that gave The Fire House its name, we immediately recognized the incredible potential within this cozy home. What followed was a full gut renovation—from floor to ceiling, including the trusses—that completely reimagined the property. The Fire House had been vacant for more than 10 years so this renovation required us to bring everything into compliance with Florida’s current building code.
To enhance livability, we added a bonus room that created an open, spacious feel to complement the home’s three bedrooms.
Structural upgrades included a new metal roof, energy-efficient windows, a new water heater, updated plumbing (interior and exterior), a new electrical system, central HVAC, and full insulation.
With the foundation set, we introduced our signature finishes: luxury vinyl plank flooring throughout, fresh interior paint, new kitchen cabinets, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and a stylish glass tile backsplash. Contemporary matte-black hardware, an updated bathroom with a rain shower head and sprayer, new vanity, and modern toilet elevated the design even further. Every room featured updated LED lighting, with ceiling fans installed in the bedrooms and living area for comfort and efficiency.
To complete the renovation, we added a custom barn door at the entrance to the laundry room—a unique detail that blended character with functionality.
